Introduction from the International President
Through a series of town hall meetings, newly introduced federal anti-hazing legislation, and the formation of a national coalition comprised of sororities, fraternities, community agencies, and churches, it is my desire that these combined efforts will end a practice that is counterproductive to our image. It is our responsibility as a community-service organization to safeguard future generations and legacies and preserve the positive and rich history of our Sorority. Therefore, we stand united with our brothers of Phi Beta Sigma in an effort to end hazing.
A Message from the National First Vice PresidentA national coalition has been formed by Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and the National Action Network calling on all fraternities, sororities, civic organizations, academic institutions, politicians, celebrities and concerned citizens to support a full-scale effort to eliminate hazing culture from society. The national coalition will also conduct a major media campaign to bring awareness to the problem of hazing and develop anti-hazing curriculum training programs and support materials.
